As you may have heard from Duwo, there is a delay this year with the settlement of the service costs. During the settlement the advance payment for electricity, gas, and heating, among other things, is settled with the actual costs incurred. Duwo, as the landlord, is legally obligated to finalize this settlement by July 1st. Due to an issue with Duwo’s administrative systems, the service cost settlement has been delayed. Duwoners, as the tenants’ association, is in contact with Duwo regarding this matter. We are closely monitoring the situation, and of course, we are not pleased with the delay. It is expected that the settlement will be issued in August for some of the complexes. As a tenants’ association, there is little we can do about the situation, but it is important to continue voicing our concerns to DUWO, as the delay is actually unacceptable.
